Rohan was a mischievous and humorous boy by nature. His greatest talent was his ability to turn any ordinary moment into an exciting story. Among his friends, he was famous for one special habit—he would wink, and instantly, a long and imaginative tale would begin.
One day, Rohan was sitting in the park with his friends. Just then, they noticed a man walking toward them, carrying a large suitcase in his hand. Rohan quietly winked and whispered, “Now watch, the story begins.”
His friends looked at him curiously. “What happened?” they asked.
Rohan replied dramatically, “That man must be a spy.”
“A spy? How do you know?” one friend questioned.
“Look at him,” Rohan said confidently. “He’s looking around suspiciously, as if he’s hiding a secret.”
Rohan continued building his story. “I’m sure there’s treasure inside that suitcase.”
One friend laughed and said, “Or maybe it just contains clothes.”
“No,” Rohan insisted, “spies always carry mysterious things in their suitcases.”
Suddenly, the man came and sat on a nearby bench. For a moment, Rohan felt slightly nervous, but he quickly winked again and continued, “It seems the mystery will be revealed today.”
The man smiled and said kindly, “Son, if you’re talking about my suitcase, let me tell you—it only contains office documents.”
Rohan felt a little embarrassed, but he refused to end the story. Turning to his friends, he whispered, “See? Spies never tell the truth.”
After some time, the man got up and walked away. Rohan said, “The story isn’t over yet.”
His friends laughed and asked, “What happens next?”
“Maybe another mystery will appear,” Rohan replied with excitement.
But that day, no mystery appeared in the park—only Rohan’s endless imagination continued. He kept winking at every passerby, trying to spin a new story each time.
As they headed home in the evening, his friends said, “Rohan, your habit of winking before telling a story might one day make you a great storyteller.”
Rohan smiled proudly and said, “All it takes to start a story is just one wink!”
