Nothing is permanent, so don’t stress yourself too much, because no matter how bad the situation is, it will change.
Life is a beautiful flow of continuously changing moments and circumstances. What exists today may not exist tomorrow. Happiness, sorrow, struggle, success, and failure—all are temporary. The deep truth of life is that nothing is permanent. This realization teaches us two things: to remain patient during pain and humble during joy.
When we go through difficult times, we often believe that this suffering is permanent. The mind becomes filled with anxiety, fear, and worry. But if we observe closely, every moment, every event, and every emotion in life keeps changing. The pain that feels unbearable today often becomes our greatest strength and wisdom tomorrow. This experience shapes us, matures us, and makes us stronger.
Stress and fear arise when we assume that our current difficulties will last forever. But the truth is, every situation has an expiration date—neither happiness remains forever, nor sadness. Time changes everything, whether we want it or not. Therefore, we should not allow any problem to become so heavy on our mind that it steals our peace, sleep, and confidence.
When life challenges us, we should learn to face it rather than escape it. Change is the most natural process of life. Leaves fall from trees, seasons change, day turns into night and night into morning. Likewise, the phases of our life never stay still.
There is a beautiful gift hidden in this idea—it gives us hope. No matter how difficult the moment is, it will pass. Every storm ends. Every night eventually welcomes dawn. So during tough times, we must remind ourselves:
“This too shall pass.”
And when life is filled with joy and success, we must remember that it won’t last forever either. This understanding protects us from pride and teaches humility. Balance lies in this: not breaking down in sorrow, and not losing ourselves in excessive excitement during success.
Letting go of stress and learning to accept change is wisdom. Those who truly understand the unpredictable nature of life live with more peace and less fear. They view every situation as a chapter—not as the final story.
In the end, life is not something that stays still—it is something that flows. So don’t try to hold it too tightly—experience it, accept it, and keep moving forward.
If today is difficult, trust that tomorrow will be better.
If today is beautiful, be grateful—because that too may change.
This balance, this acceptance, and this calmness—this is the real essence of wisdom.
