When you grow,
not everyone celebrates you.
In your wings,
some hearts feel threatened.
Your honesty
shatters someone’s illusion,
your boundaries
challenge someone’s entitlement.
Your courage
awakens the fears they buried,
and your light
brings their hidden shadows forward.
They are not fighting you —
they are fighting something inside themselves.
You simply become the mirror
that shows them their own truth.
Sometimes hatred
is not hatred at all,
it is pain disguised as anger,
a wound that has never found words.
So when people shift,
grow distant, or turn cold —
stop asking yourself,
“What did I do wrong?”
And gently understand —
“What truth did I make visible?”
