Do good and cast it into the river

Those Who Speak the Truth and Do Good Deeds Face the Most Hatred – It is a harsh but undeniable truth that in this world, those who speak the truth and work for the welfare of others face the most opposition, criticism, and hatred. It is ironic that the very people who strive to improve society, awaken minds, or bring light into others’ lives are often pushed into darkness themselves.

Speaking the truth is never easy. When a person chooses the path of honesty, they inevitably collide with the world of lies, selfishness, and pretense that many have built for their own benefit. Truth is bitter — and bitterness is hard for most people to swallow. That is why the person who dares to reveal the truth often becomes the target of society’s hatred and ridicule. History bears witness to this: those who raised their voice for truth — be it Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, or Lord Buddha — were initially met with rejection and hostility. Yet ultimately, these very individuals became guiding lights for humanity.

Those who dedicate themselves to doing good are not spared either. A person who helps others selflessly is often viewed with suspicion. In a world where most people act out of self-interest, genuine kindness makes many uncomfortable. Often, a good-hearted person becomes the victim of envy, criticism, or mockery. As the saying goes, “Do good and cast it into the river,” meaning that even good deeds are often ridiculed in today’s times.

For truth-tellers and do-gooders, the greatest challenge is to stay firm on their path despite the hatred they face. Truth and goodness are like lamps that keep burning even in the fiercest wind. Those who follow these principles know that the temporary hatred of others is far less significant than the eternal peace and moral strength they gain within.

The ones who dare to tell the truth and work for others’ welfare are, in fact, the backbone of society. They challenge wrong traditions, change people’s thinking, and keep humanity alive.

Therefore, if you speak the truth or help others and people dislike you for it, understand that you are on the right path. Hatred comes only to those who have the courage to shake the foundations of lies and evil. In time, that hatred transforms into respect, and the world remembers only those who hold high the flag of truth and goodness despite all odds.

Concluding, Though truth-tellers and good-doers may face hatred today, tomorrow they become the inspiration for society. The path of honesty and kindness is indeed difficult, but it is also the path that leads a person toward immortality.
