Nestled in hills, where the cool winds blow,
Dehradun shines with a gentle glow.
From Rajpur Road to Raipur’s land,
A city of wonders, simple yet grand.
The climate so crisp, the greenery vast,
A home to traditions, a blend of the past.
A mixed culture thrives, so rich and bright,
Where hearts stay warm and faces light.
The Punjabis of Doon, with zest so bold,
Stories of courage, laughter retold.
The Garhwalis of Doon, with songs so free,
Echoing tales of their hills and trees.
The Gorkhas of Doon, with valor true,
Guardians of peace, in skies so blue.
The IMA stands, proud and tall,
Training warriors who heed the call.
The FRI, with its forests wide,
A treasure trove of knowledge inside.
By the Buddha Temple, prayers arise,
Peaceful chants that touch the skies.
To Clement Town, where cultures meet,
Harmony flows in every street.
In Premnagar and Indira Nagar,
Dreams take flight, reaching farther.
In Chukhuwala, Khurbura Mohella,
Life dances like a folk novella.
In Lunia Mohella, Bangali Mohella,
A blend of flavors, a city’s umbrella.
Sahastradhara, the falls so bright,
Where waters sparkle in golden light.
Through Lachhiwala, Doiwala, streams do run,
Shimmering under the morning sun.
By Lakshman Sidh, where sages stay,
Echoes of hymns in twilight’s play.
To Mussoorie, Dhanolti, high above,
Wrapped in mist, a land we love.
At Surkunda Devi Temple, the bells do ring,
A melody of faith, the winds bring.
The Shiv Temple, serene and wise,
Blessing the land where beauty lies.
Oh, Dehradun, my heart’s embrace,
A city of charm, of love, of grace.
With every street, a tale is spun,
Forever my home, my only one.
