You’ll pass through life, for you’ve learned the art,
But I can’t master living with a broken heart.
Every breath speaks only of your name,
Living without you is beyond my claim.
You left, but dreams still cradle your face,
Memories cling, refusing to give space.
You’ve learned to wear a smile and move on,
While I can’t even fake it until dawn.
They say time heals every wound,
But this heart sings an eternal tune.
Each day I try to forget you somehow,
Yet lying to myself—I don’t know how.
You’ll pass through life; that’s your truth to find,
But the light of my love still lingers behind.
Once lit by your presence, it still brightly burns,
Unyielding to darkness, as the world turns.
