Our body is energized by a life force. When that life force departs, the body is dead. Death is a reality. Death is certain. Every ‘body’ must die. Although this is a truth and we all know it, but we are unable to accept it gracefully. At death, all relationships come to an end. All possessions are lost. It is the end of Chapter of life.
Death should be a celebration. It is not painful. In fact, liberation from all pain and miseries. Not just from the triple suffering on earth but more importantly, it is Liberation from the cycle of rebirth. We are the immortal soul. Those who are not liberated at death they suffer till they die, they also suffer the moment of death and finally come to earth again and again. They continue to suffer as the body, mind and ego.
Death happens. The body dies. We must realise the truth that death is an opportunity to be free from all suffering on earth, it is an opportunity to be liberated from rebirth and be united with the Divine. Those people who realised that the body is sure to die, they also realised that they are not the mind that they can’t find, finally, they realise that their ego is a false identity that say “I, Me and Mine.”
Our ultimate goal is to realise that we are the soul and to be free from cycle of transmigration and reincarnation. We have to realise the truth before we are dead. Thus, at death, one of two things will happen, either we will live and die as body, mind and ego and carry forward our Karma Or we have realised that we are the divine soul, not the body, mind and ego, then, at the moment of death, we will be liberated and will be united with the Divine. Therefore, death is not the end but it is a bend to transcend.
Death is a moment when life ends. Death is the moment we lose our breath. What happens at death actually ? Death happens when life inside our body leaves. It is a permanent departure. The person who has died cannot come alive. Such is death. Every creature must die. Every living being that is born must move on. We know it, but we don’t realise the truth behind death. Thus, death is Liberation, Make it a Celebration !
